The Mer Blanche (“White Sea”) lagoon is absolutely stunning. On one side, you can see the Glénan archipelago and a white-sand beach. On the other, you have marshland and a salt marsh separated from the beach by a strip of dunes covering almost 4 km. Together, the beach, dunes and lagoon create a mosaic of landscapes that are often surprising and change with the tides. This is a beautiful and wild place for walks on the GR34 trail, water sports and relaxation. The Mer Blanche is a paradise for those who love gathering seafood by hand as a variety of shellfish can be picked up here. It’s part of the Bénodet seaside resort (Le Letty, north-west area). The Mer Blanche is within walking distance of the campsite.
